Some of the most common skin diseases include:

Pimples (Acne):

Pimples are caused by blocked skin follicles that lead to oil, bacteria and dead skin buildup in skin pores. Usually occurs on face, back etc..

Alopecia Areata:

losing hair in small patches. Usually on areas like scalp, chin, moustache, beard etc..

Eczema (Atopic Dermatitis):

Atopic dermatitis can cause an itchy inflammation of the skin. Atopic dermatitis usually develops in early childhood and is more common in people who have a family history of the condition. The main symptom is a rash that typically appears on the arms and behind the knees, but can also appear anywhere.

Psoriasis:

Psoriasis is a skin disease that causes a rash with itchy, scaly patches, most commonly on the knees, elbows, trunk and scalp.

Vitiligo:

In vitiligo, patches of skin loses pigmentation and become pale or white. It is also called leukoderma. common sites are lips, face, on legs, on chest, abdomen etc..

Urticaria (Hives):

Hives is a common skin rash triggered by many things, including certain foods, medication and stress. Symptoms include itchy, raised, red or skin-colored welts on the skin's surface.

Seborrheic Dermatitis

Seborrheic dermatitis is a skin condition that causes scaly patches, or powder like flakes and red skin, mainly on the scalp, face, beard, upper chest and back.
In addition to scaly patches and red skin, seborrhoeic dermatitis can cause stubborn dandruff.
Seborrheic dermatitis is usually caused by a combination of genetic and environmental factors. The trigger is usually an inflammatory reaction.

Ring worm or fungal infection:

Ringworm is a common skin infection that is caused by a fungus. It's called “ringworm” because it can cause a circular rash (shaped like a ring) that is usually red and itchy. It’s a highly contagious fungal infection of the skin or scalp. Ringworm is spread by skin-to-skin contact or by touching an infected person, animal or object.

Warts:

Warts are caused by various strains of human papilloma viruses(HPV) Different strains may cause warts in different parts of the body. Warts can be spread from one location on the body to another or from person to person by contact with the wart. The main symptom is a fleshy, painless growth on the skin. Common areas affected include the hands, feet and genitals.

Genital Warts (Anal Warts)

Genital warts are a common sexually transmitted infection caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). The characteristic symptom is a small bump on the genitals with cauliflower like structure. common symptoms include: Pain, oozing of discharge,Burning sensation

Corns:

Corns are thick, hardened layers of skin caused by friction and pressure. Corns most often develop on the tops and sides of feet and between the toes. They're benign and can also be found in weight-bearing areas. Symptoms include hardened, raised bumps surrounded by inflamed skin. They can be painful when pressed.

Keloid

A keloid is a thick raised scar. It can occur wherever you have a skin injury but usually forms on earlobes, shoulders, cheeks or the chest or at the site of surgical incision. If you're prone to developing keloids, you might get them in more than one place. common symptoms include: lumps, darkening of the skin, pain and itching.

Stye

A stye is a red, painful lump near the edge of the eyelid that may look like a boil or pimple. A stye can develop after the small glands that line the eyelid get plugged. Styes are often filled with pus. Sometimes a stye can form on the inner part of the eyelid. common symptoms include: eyelid redness, puffy eyes, or watery eyes, lump on the eyelid, eyelid pain, or eyelid tenderness & swelling.
